Our client was looking to add a unique twist to one of their monthly social events for its members while providing a relaxed atmosphere for networking, delicious wines and a bit of education on the side.
After offering several enhancement options, the client was intrigued by the idea of showcasing sparkling wines throughout the evening. We worked with the caterer to pair a four-course dinner with a variety of sparkling wines. Prior to each course, we gave guests a brief introduction to each wine and the pairing, allowing them the opportunity to understand and connect with what they were tasting. For an additional treat, we set up a Sommelier guided DIY Bubbly Cocktail Bar while guests arrived where they could try their hand at mixing their own signature cocktail from a variety of bitters, garnishes and rose or white sparkling wine.
The evening was a hit! Guests loved the hands-on aspect of designing their own cocktail and exploring the different flavor combinations. We caught several guests sharing recipe ideas and tasting each other’s concoctions. The food, provided by Season’s Catering, was phenomenal and paired wonderfully with our array of sparkling wines. Each sparkling wine pairing offered unique and delightful taste combinations with just enough education to enhance the experience. It was a great time had by all and we look forward to working with them again!
