2012 Rowland Tebb Pinot Noir, Saveria Vineyard

35.00

WINE: Rowland Tebb winery crafts wines with minimal intervention (unfined and unfiltered) and an extremely small production allows for maximum attention to detail. Very few cases were produced.

PLACE: This wine is made with Pinot noir vines from the Saveria Vineyard located in the Santa Cruz Mountains. This vineyard has a lot of history and was actually made famous by Lioco Winery and followed by Trail Marker and Loma Prieta. This is an exceptional, and sought after vineyard site.

PAIRING: Bright notes of raspberries, pomegranate, strawberry and dried cranberry followed by an earthy undertone, cola, and forest floor. We would pair this wine with lighter meats and cheese.

TAKEAWAY: This wine is incredibly small production, with a great price for such a beautiful example of elegant California Pinot Noir. Perfect for intimate gatherings.
