WINE: This sparkling beauty is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and made in the Cap Classique method (Méthode Champenoise). In 1994 Graham Beck Brut NV was selected as the celebratory drink at the inauguration of South Africa’s first democratically elected president, Nelson Mandela. First Lady, Michelle Obama, also selected this for her husband’s first inauguration.

PLACE: Graham Beck wines is now entering its third generation as a family winery. It was established in 1983 when entrepreneur Graham Beck purchased Madeba farm outside the Western Cape town of Robertson with ambition to establish a world-class winery in this region. The success of the Robertson winery has been extended to the second Graham Beck cellar in Franschoek, one of the oldest winemaking regions in South Africa.

PAIRING: An all round crowd pleaser and extremely versatile bubbly that is perfect throughout an event - delicious on its own, with a range of appetizers, as well as with both arctic char and steak.
